SoccerPlus CT and Western United Extreme announced they have agreed to a strategic alliance that pools their girls’ teams at ages U14 and above. The alliance will field teams at both the national (ECNL) and regional competition levels.

AUDRA AYOTTE
NSCAA GIRLS SCHOLAR
ALL-AMERICA TEAM


Audra Ayotte from Marlborough, CT and a member of the RHAM High School team has earned All-American honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

In November Audra guided the RHAM Girls to the CIAC Class L State Title by defeating Avon 2-1. Article It capped a brilliant High School career with multiple honors from All-Conference, All-State and now of course All-American.

Audra, currently playing on the SoccerPlus U18 Girls ECNL team, will be playing soccer at Georgetown University next season. The Hoyas who play in the Big East advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals this year.

Audra and the remainder of the Girls' Scholar All-American Team will be honored at the annual All-America Luncheon, to be held at the Hilton Baltimore Hotel on Saturday, Jan. 15, as part of the 2011 NSCAA Convention.

Jamie Botteon is an All-State Goalkeeper for Bristol Eastern High School.  In December of 2009 Jamie learned that she had Leukemia. Her older brother, Wade, died of the same condition when he was 13.  She is back on the field now and playing again with her SoccerPlus CT team. She will have a weekly Journal here where you can follow her journey as a player with SoccerPlus CT.

Julie Foudy, as part of her National Soccer Hall of Fame Induction weekend, was a guest player for the SoccerPlus CT Reds. That weekend, she was inducted into the Soccer Hall of Fame. Foudy's career achievements include two FIFA World Championships, one Olympic Silver Medal, and two Olympic Gold Medals.

Colton Grob (SoccerPlus CT '96 U14 Boys) has been recommended for US Club Soccer’s 2010 id2 national identification and development program.

Colton is now in the national player pool, and will be evaluated for attendance at an id2 Regional Training Camp. Only the best 204 male players will attend one of three id2 Regional Training Camps this fall.

HARTFORD and NEW HAVEN, CT - June 4, 2010
SoccerPlus CT and South Central Premier today announced they have committed to a Strategic Alliance built on the commonalities of mission and philosophy in order to offer additional opportunities to the boys and girls within both premier soccer clubs. While remaining independent organizations, the Alliance will allow the players and coaches of each club to benefit from the collective advantages and development avenues of both clubs.
