soccer."
"The walk to the dining hall was a
little long" |
|
SoccerPlus Staff Quote: |
"TCU was a new site for us and while some new sites have
growing pains, pulling several staff
from TCU, the transition to TCU was
very smooth. The dorms and fields
were impeccable." |

About
the Cafeteria: |
There
are four new, exciting platforms to
offer at TCU dining. Grill 155 is
the first addition where you get the
burger, fries and the sizzle wrapped
together. The Chefs Table, another
option, offers both home style meals
and upscale delights to suit your
mood. And if youre in the mood for
something exotic, venture to Far
East Fusion where youll find
delicacies from the Pacific Rim like
Thai Noodle Bowls or Lettuce Wraps
that can be made with chicken or
tofu. The Pasta Platform offers a
wide variety of Italian inspired
items that include different pastas
that can then be sautιed with your
choice of Sauces and ingredients.
They have expanded their Vegetarian
options, as they will now be
included at all of our Platforms,
ensuring that you get a wide variety
to choose from. |

About
the
Fields: |
Garvey-Rosenthal
Soccer Stadium:
TCU's
beautiful Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer
Stadium, which was completed prior
to the 2000 season, boasts 1,500
seats in a handsome, natural
setting. It features both playing
and workout spaces, a press box,
ample parking and storage, a covered
porch overlooking the field for
hosting parties and youth teams, and
even more room for expansion. But
the facility is more than a
state-of-the-art venue. It is a
tangible indicator that TCU is
serious about a sport that grows
more popular in the United States
each year and ranks as the world's
number one sport.
In the spring of 2006, the soccer
program at TCU got another lift with
the addition of lights to the
stadium, enabling the Frogs to play
night games at home for the first
time in school history. The four
poles providing 50 foot candles of
power will cover the field of play
as well as the practice field.
