SoccerPlus Camper Quote: |
"Colgate was really nice place.
Great school, beautiful fields and
surrounding grounds and a nice town
nearby."
"Colgate's
facilities were great. The dorms
were a plus because in the past
camps we had to share a community
shower on each floor for everyone.
So this made the week go by
smoother. Also the soccer fields
were in great condition for training."
"The fields
were amazing! Some of the best
fields I have played on."
"Colgate is
the best site I have attended a
SoccerPlus Camp at so far." |
|
SoccerPlus Staff Quote: |
"Great site. Dorms were satisfactory
and air conditioned."
"Colgate University is one of the
flagship locations for SoccerPlus.
The feeling you get from being a
part of camp at this location is
special." |

History: |
In 1817, 13 men - six
clergy and seven laymen - met in the
frontier settlement of
Hamilton with "13 dollars, 13
prayers, and 13 articles." (To this
day, members of the Colgate
community consider the number 13 a
good omen.) In that meeting, the men
founded the Baptist Education
Society of the State of New York,
the cornerstone in the foundation of
what would become Colgate
University.

traditionally will train on the
Academy fields and the FieldPlayers
will train adjacent to the Athletic
Center on the Varsity Practice

facilities which include a
gymnasium, pool, a field house, a
boathouse, bowling alley, shooting
ranges, hockey rink and a top 5
