Week 3 Camp Information:

FieldPlayer Academy

SoccerPlus FieldPlayer Academy is a breeding ground for outfield players looking to get better and wanting to deepen their understanding of the game. Our expert staff have both the knowledge and experience to help our students implement changes into their game that will take them to the next level.

The reason behind SoccerPlus FieldPlayer Academy's success is not a mystery. It starts with our Founder and CEO, Tony DiCicco. Through the experiences of having coached in three FIFA World Cups, an Olympics and two FIFA Youth World Cups, Tony's experiences are part of the camp curriculum. Most recently, as the Head Coach of the US National Team at the 2008 FIFA U20 World Cup he brought together a team comprised of mostly collegiate players and helped them to understand the value of "selfless service." The team went on to not only win the Gold Medal, but also the FIFA Fair Play Award.

His methodology guides every student's experience at SoccerPlus. The DiCicco Method is based on the expectation that time spent with SoccerPlus should be both demanding and fulfilling. "We present our students with real challenges," DiCicco explains, "but my staff are experts at guiding those who embrace the program to success. The result is both powerful and enduring. The SoccerPlus experience will stay with you long after you have left us."

There are other programs out there, but there is only one SoccerPlus FieldPlayer Academy - known for the excellence and consistency the SoccerPlus brand is synonymous with. Attend one of our programs and initiate a special bond that will impact you for life.

Appears in July 6, 2009 issue of Sports Illustrated Magazine
After his five-month loan to Italian superclub AC Milan, David Beckham is expected back with the Los Angeles Galaxy and scheduled to play on July 16 against the New York Red Bulls at Giants Stadium. In Beckham's two years with the Galaxy he has successfully sold jerseys and served as celebrity eye candy, but the soccer story has been an epic disaster, from his injury-plagued season in '07 through a loss-filled campaign in '08.
