WHAT OUR CAMPERS AND PARENTS ARE SAYING ABOUT SOCCERPLUS
This was another great summer for SoccerPlus. Here is a
sample of what campers and parents are saying about
SoccerPlus:
Peter Miller,
parent of Graham, Goalkeeper School
UC San Diego,
California - 2007 |
"Just a note from my wife and
I about the camp: Graham has participated in
many different camps and SoccerPlus was
without question the most well run and the
most valuable to our son's development. From
the minute we walked up to check him in, we
knew that it would be an excellent
experience for him. The quality of the
staff, the training/learning schedules, the
facilities and even the check-in process
were all top-notch. Finding good training
for keepers can be a challenge, and
SoccerPlus gave our son (and us) everything
we were looking for and much more. You
exceeded our expectations. He can't wait to
come back."

Pennsylvania - 2006 |
|
"Raymond will be attending next
summer as a fieldplayer as well as a goalkeeper. He
really loved the camp and spends more time with a
soccer ball now that he's home than ever before. I
can't thank you enough for the confidence you've
given him in his abilities. He has played at the
premier level for 5 years, but now he truly believes
he's a 'player.' He also enjoyed scoring some goals
against guys bigger and older than him. Thank you." |

Scott Angevine,
ANTC Student
Suffield Academy, Connecticut - 2006 |
|
"It is an extremely good camp if you are looking to
better yourself physically and mentally as a
goalkeeper. No other camp works on both aspects of
the game as effectively."

Tracy Cairns,
parent of Renae Cairns, Competitive Program
Northfield-Mt. Hermon, Massachusetts - 2006 |
|
"I just wanted to thank you and SoccerPlus
for a wonderful camp for my daughter, Renae.
She is a goalkeeper and she was challenged,
energized and encouraged the entire week. I
feel like she learned a lot and she loved
the camp. Meeting Tony was a HUGE experience
for her and she can't wait to come back to
SoccerPlus next summer." |

Overall, it was the best
camp experience I have ever had. It was an
intense week, and I improved tremendously as
a player and learned that I could push
through what I thought were my limits and
really find out who I am, not only as a a
soccer player, but as a competitor as well. |

John Mauro, father of
Brooke Mauro, Competitive Program
University of Rhode Island, Rhode Island - 2006 |
|
"As a business owner of 17
years I am always leery of performance not
meeting the promise. In this case however,
the performance exceeded the promise. Brooke
raved about the camaraderie that was
developed amongst the campers and the staff.
This was a direct result of the efforts of
the staff who purposefully created the
environment. Let me say it again. The
performance exceeded the promise. Thanks for
a wonderful memory my daughter will not soon
forget." |

Christine
Jarvis, NTC Student
Northfield-Mt. Hermon,
Massachusetts - 2006 |
|
"I had an awesome week at camp and cannot
stress enough how great the staff coaches
and directors were. I started off camp on a
bad leg, but the staff encouraged me and
helped me through the week. After the last
Pressure Training, I truly felt like the
camp - goalkeepers and fieldplayers alike,
had become more than just another group of
players; we were part of the SoccerPlus
family." |

The week following my
SoccerPlus experience, I traveled to attend
a different camp, I thought it would be
another great experience....I quickly came
to realize I was deeply mistaken. What I
learned is that I will never go to a camp
other than SoccerPlus, simply because it IS
the best. |

"A
well-run program. I feel like I got more out
of this one week than I have all year!" |

"This was a
great experience. To be able to play with
other great players and work with some of
the most renowned coaches in the country was
a great pleasure. I was spent by the end of
the week but it was completely worth it."

- 2006 |
|
"I enjoyed attending SoccerPlus a lot, and
plan on attending it next summer. The staff
were not only great to work with on the
field, but off the field as well. They were
very funny and great to talk to. I also love
the friends that I make at SoccerPlus. We
were very compatible with me because we
share a love of soccer and they were amazing
people. Thank you so much for two great
weeks.

SaraAnn Bennett, ANTC Student
Suffield Academy, Connecticut - 2006 |
|
"I enjoyed the fact that the coaches
understood that we we are all competitive
individuals. By making most of the drills
into games, I think it build up the
intensity of every training session,
bringing out the best goalkeeping possible.
I also really liked working with the Sports
Psychologist." |

more through is training at this camp then
at any other." |

"The SoccerPlus Home Office was extremely
helpful during my crisis! I had to change
camp locations and dates and the office was
very patient and understanding during my
dilemma." |
|
Beau Bourne, Two-Week FieldPlayer Academy
Colgate University, New York - 2006 |
|
"SoccerPlus
was a life-changing camp for me. I am a
better player now than I was before I
attended, and I will use the skills and
ideas I learned with you to better my game
and other aspects of my life. I can't wait
to go next year! |

"This
was the best soccer camp I have been to,
hands down! The facilities were beautiful,
most of of the coaches were very helpful and
knew the game well. The philosophy of the
camp really stressed being a complete
player. It was physically and mentally
taxing at times, but I am so glad that I
decided to attend this camp. I believe that
I now have an advantage over other keepers
because I attended." |

"I
just wanted to drop you a line from the
mom/soccer enthusiast point of view. We are
incredibly pleased and thankful that we
learned about your great program. It was an
incredibly intense, totally educational and
fantastic program for my boys. Both my
teenagers attended the UCSD camp and came
home totally fired up about their game and
looking forward to the upcoming soccer
season. They learned so much on the field
and in the classroom, through their peers
and definitely thru the fantastic
leaders/coaches you have running your
programs.
I just wanted to congratulate you
personally, on a job well done! You have a
fantastic staff in place to make it all
happen. We can't wait to do it next year!"
